South Hardin boys track and field burst out of the blocks at a Wartburg indoor meet on Tuesday, March 8.
The Tigers had three top-3 finishes, led by Mason Sheldahl taking second in the long jump after clearing 19 feet even. De’Anthony Jackson of West Des Moines Valley won the event with a 19-7 mark.
Colton McDonald added a bronze medal in the high jump after getting over the bar at 5 feet, 6 inches.
Waylen Butler finished third in the 55-meter hurdle finals in 8.89 seconds, with teammate Ryan Walters close behind in 8.91 seconds for fourth.
