ELDORA – Last December, the Hardin County Compensation Board met and handed their salary recommendations to the Hardin County Board of Supervisors. They had suggested a 20 percent raise for Hardin County Sheriff Dave McDaniel, and a 9 percent increase for Hardin County Attorney Darrell Meyer, Hardin County Recorder Lori Kadner, Hardin County Auditor Jolene Pieters and Hardin County Treasurer Machele Eichmeier. The three supervisors, Reneé McClellan, BJ Hoffman and Lance Granzow, were also slated to receive a 9 percent raise.
