IOWA FALLS – Geneva resident Rhonda Diemer lived in Eldora in the early 1980s, and that’s where she learned how to cross-stitch. “I went into Shirley Shirley’s shop (The Yarn Shop) and she sat me down and taught me how to do it,” Diemer said.
Now, almost 40 years later, she will offer her talent and expertise to others at Criss Cross Stitchery, 407 N. Oak St. in Iowa Falls. Her shop opened on Dec. 1 and Diemer sells patterns, a host of notions, threads and fabric.
