ELDORA - “Row the boat” has been a mantra for South Hardin Superintendent Adam Zellmer this school year. Large oars were presented at each school building, as well as 300 miniature ones to staff and school board members last week as a reminder of the lessons that can be learned from an oar. Everyone has an oar in life, and it’s important to keep it in the water and keep rowing, both as individuals and as groups. The more people in the boat rowing, the more the waves can be ridden smoothly.
