South Hardin grad illustrates children’s book

ELDORA – Ashley Grego has been an illustration artist for two years, and her artwork was recently published in the children’s book Jimmy, The Little Red Fire Truck by author Scott Rice. The book became available on the Amazon and Barnes and Nobel websites in August.

“He found me on a website for free-lancers and saw my work,” Grego said of Rice. “Then he asked me to illustrate the book.”

This was the first book for Rice, who lives in Texas. He is working on a second book and has asked Grego to illustrate that one, as well.
