ELDORA - Jaxson Drury was wide awake Friday night.
A year previous, and he admitted that wasn’t the case for him and his South Hardin teammates when they faced Aplington-Parkersburg, surrendering a two-score lead to Falcons after halftime.
“We definitely weren’t focused in that second half,” Drury said. “Obviously we wanted to change that this year. We wanted to be the more conditioned team out there, and we took that seriously over the offseason.”
