Senator Grassley visits Hardin County

On April 5, Senator Charles E. Grassley visited Hardin County, stopping by the Security State Bank for a Q&A session with local folks. Grassley has been traveling through Iowa this week in an attempt to visit all 99 counties.

“Those of us who are elected have to know what’s on the public’s mind, and this is the best way to do it,” said Grassley. “Think of this like an open town meeting. Any question is appropriate.”

The first question asked generated laughs from all who were present, “What is your single most favorite food at the Iowa State Fair?”
