Salvo signs with Wartburg volleyball

ELDORA – Emma Salvo had set up quite the itinerary for college visits.

The South Hardin senior threw it out the window once she visited the Wartburg College campus in Waverly.

Last Tuesday, she made her commitment to the Knights’ women’s volleyball team official in a signing ceremony at South Hardin High School.

“Everything was perfect,” Salvo said. “There was really no reason to go anywhere else. Campus was gorgeous. I loved everything about it.”

That was a shift for Salvo, who had initially planned on broadening her horizons by going to school out of state.
