ELDORA – The Iowa River’s Edge Trail, which starts in Steamboat Rock and has an eventual completion in Marshalltown, got a $10,000 donation last week from Hardin County Savings Bank in Eldora.
The trail, which will accommodate bike riders, walkers, cross-country skiers and even snowmobilers, will stretch 34 miles between Steamboat Rock and Marshalltown on a former rail line.
