ELDORA – When Brittany Steppe came into her office at Eldora-New Providence Elementary School last July, there was an envelope addressed to the school on her desk. Steppe, who is the E-NP school secretary, saw that it was from a woman in Eagle Grove named Blanche Bosteder.
“She had written a letter and worked for an auction house,” Steppe said, adding that several photos were enclosed with the letter. They were snapshots of a quilt, which had blocks on the front made from students who were fifth-graders during 1983-1984 school year. The quilt was made for Mrs. Mildred Miller.
