Staff at Eldora-based Quality Products will draw their pay through the end of the month with Iowa Workforce Development working to aid those impacted.
“The recent closure of our Eldora plant comes on the heels of a significant customer loss,” according to a statement made available by Brian Sabo, of Sabo PR. “This was an extremely difficult decision to make but a necessary one given the change in our business climate.”
The Eldora plant is owned by HD Hudson, a Michigan-based company.
Most workers were affected immediately.
