ELDORA – The business partnership started in 1996 when Rick Clemons and Eric Ross joined forces and started Quality Automotive at 1413 Washington St. in Eldora. The two already knew each other and turned wrenches at different businesses from Grundy Center to Iowa Falls, until they met up at the old Lakeside Auto in Eldora. Clemons was already working there and the business needed help. Clemons told his boss, “I bet you can call Eric and he’ll help out.”
And that he did.
