Hardin County Treasurer, Machel Eichmeier, has announced for property owners that the second installment of property taxes is due Sunday March 31, but with falling on a Sunday, there will be no penalty for paying April 1.
Property tax information may be obtained online at www.iowatreasurers.org or by calling the Treasurer’s Office at 641-939-8230. To avoid penalty on the second installment, payment must be received in the Treasurer’s Office or postmarked by April 1.
