ELDORA – After some contentious conversation and comments from both the Eldora City Council and the general public, it took a little more than an hour for Anthony Schrad to be voted in as Police Chief by a 3-2 margin, and Carson Lutterman to be named a full-time police officer by a unanimous 5-0 decision. Council members Mel Hoy and Cindy Johns were the “no” votes. Greg Priske, who had previously voted against Shcrad’s hire, flipped his decision during the roll call vote..
