IOWA FALLS – A group calling themselves the Iowa Carbon Pipeline Resistance Coalition held an informational meeting last Thursday at the Robert W. Barlow Library in Iowa Falls. Around 20 people – 90 percent being landowners directly affected by a pipeline crossing their property – were in attendance.
Caitline Golle with Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement (ICCI) opened the meeting and spoke mostly about the proposed Navigator CO2 pipeline, which just recently added the POET ethanol plant in Iowa Falls to provide carbon capture, utilization and storage.
