ELDORA – A motion to file a ‘petition to intervene’ in regards to Summit Carbon Solution’s proposed CO2 pipeline was approved by the Hardin County Board of Supervisors last week.
Hardin County Attorney Darrell Meyer spoke to the supervisors about the petition, stating that the Office of the Consumer Advocate (OCA), a division of the Department of Justice in Iowa, is tasked with looking out for the interests of the public when any issues like the CO2 pipeline are brought before the Iowa Utilities Board (IUB).
