Passing the Baton: Adams passes AmeriCorps Member position to Holiday

Bonni Brown Holiday, of Eldora, will be the new Hardin County AmeriCorps Member starting Sept. 1, as Carol Adams ends a successful term. AmeriCorps is a network of local, state, and national service programs that connects over 70,000 Americans each year in intensive service to meet community needs in education, the environment, public safety, health, and homeland security. In Eldora’s case, this service to meet community needs involves what Adams refers to as a “trifecta of goodness.” Eldora offers a community garden, a food pantry and a warehouse.
