Overlooking a courthouse during lockdown

ELDORA – He came looking for graceful lines and tons of geometry.

A West Des Moines teacher/photographer with some time on his hands, traveled to Eldora a couple of weekends ago, because everywhere else in the world was shut down, and because so many of his friends had been telling him: “You have to shoot the Hardin County Courthouse.”

Brian Abeling, and his ‘Iowa Road Trip’ collection came to town to capture some architectural angles – earth-bound and aerial ones – found in abundance in the centerpiece of Hardin County.
