NEW PROVIDENCE - The City of New Providence turned its attention to nuisance properties with action being pursued on a couple of properties. During the Feb. 12 City Council meeting, council heard about a property at 29050 QQ Ave. with junk vehicles present. The property is also not using city water and is using other services against ordinance. City representatives planned to meet with the property owner, and council voted to pursue an infraction. Additionally, junk vehicles over at 503 W. Main came up during the meeting. The city attorney will be asked to proceed.
