ELDORA – Istref and Merida Vishaj wanted to open a restaurant and had been looking for a location in central Iowa. Meanwhile, Harold Meyer had just purchased the old Eldora Pizza and Steakhouse building at 1327 12th St. on the square, and thought he’d like a place to eat a great breakfast.
The Vishajs, who are from Kosovo and Macedonia, had looked at the building a year ago, but when they inquired about it recently, they discovered Meyer had already bought it from the bank.
