HAMPTON – The Iowa Falls-Alden/AGWSR girls cross country team placed third out of six teams at the Cadets’ home meet at Maynes Grove in Hampton on Thursday afternoon.
Ellie Meyer led the Cadet girls, winning the race in 19 minutes, 27 seconds. In the rest of the team scoring, Teah Miller was second in 22:59, Abby Harding 14th in 25:28; Kate Pfaltzgraff was 27th in 27:44 and Presley Mulford was 31st in 28:16.
IF-A/AGWSR placed third with 75 points, behind team champion Humboldt with 40 points and runner-up Mason City Newman with 50 points.
