Maneuvering a thunderstorm

I love a good storm – but not one that comes at 2 a.m., because I don’t sleep through them very well.

Last week I woke up at 4:58 a.m. because I heard thunder in the distance and saw the flashes of lightning. That’s better than 2 a.m., I get up at 5 every day anyway, so what’s two minutes? Except every time it storms at daybreak there’s a fiasco of sorts while I’m trying to get things situated before the downpour.
