HARDIN COUNTY – Now that the dust has settled on the second derecho in two years, some residents of Hardin County are thinking about what might be available in terms of state or federal aid to finance the fix up.
The damage in the county was somewhat more limited than the first bulletins on television might have led people to expect, but even though Hardin County residents probably won't qualify for federal assistance as a result, a more limited program of state aid is possible.
