CONRAD – BCLUW girls basketball kept Wapsie Valley off the scoreboard in the fourth quarter to secure a 46-36 season-opening victory at BCLUW High School last Tuesday.
The Warriors led 36-32 going to the final frame, then the Comets scored the final 14 points of the game.
Wapsie Valley missed several opportunities in the second half to extend its lead. The Warriors finished 14-of-67 from the floor.
