BOONE - South Hardin senior Bella Keaveny teed off for the final time as a Tiger at the 2024 Class 2A State Golf Tournament at Cedar Pointe Golf Course from Thursday to Friday, placing 46th among the best golfers in that class.
Keaveny quickly learned that Cedar Pointe was quite a jog to get through. The long course took a toll, and she shot a 97 over 18 holes on the first day.
“I felt very defeated after the first day because I golfed my worst,” Keaveny said. “I tried to forget about it and try again the next day and set the standard that I wanted to do better.”
