Iowa’s Ride to RAGBRAI

ELDORA - Stewart Sale proudly wore his Iowa’s Ride Weekender cycling jersey on the Friday before the ride after setting up camp at Twister Park. The next day, the San Diego resident joined several hundred other bicycle riders on the loop which went from Eldora, south through Gifford and Union, west to New Providence, north with an optional leg to Owasa, back east to Steamboat Rock, and then south, to the final destination of Eldora. “I paid the money and got this shirt, so I guess I got to show up for the ride,” he laughed.
