The Hardin County Historical Society will hold its first Open House for the summer on June 16, at the Historical House/Museum from 2-4 p.m. at 1601 Washington St., Eldora. Dee Reece will be the hostess. There will be a Story Board Display that visitors can view the history of Hardin County Natural Disasters, especially the one of 1918. These story board displays that will be featured during the summer were researched by the UNI student with the help of the supervisor of the project; Deb Johnson.
