It was no surprise the Governor appointed Iowa Utility Board approved the Summit hazardous pipeline project permit, after their decisions favored Summit at every step in this process for the past three years. The fight to stop this abuse of government power is far from over, many hurdles remain before the pipeline can be built. A large number of landowners know this and continue to refuse to sign easements for 853 parcels of land.
