Goldfield man charged with felony after pursuit

A vehicular pursuit on Highway 20 that began when Iowa State Patrol troopers clocked a vehicle at 91 mph in a 65 mph zone at MM 158 was finally brought to a close after multiple stop sig violations, eluding, excessive speed, damage to property and wrong way driving.
Ian Thomas Stevenson, 42, of Goldfield faces a Class “C” felony charge of eluding with a specification of 25 mph over the limit and aggravated misdemeanor charges of driving while barred and operating a vehicle without owner’s consent following the pursuit.
