The IWCOA Girls State Wrestling Tournament will enter its fourth year this weekend, Jan. 21-22, at the Xtream Arena in Coralville.
As of press time, 741 girls wrestlers from around the state were entered for this year’s event. This is up considerably from the 461 participants in the 2021 event, and much larger than the 2019 inaugural event that had just 87 participants.
While full information has not been released to the public regarding the registered wrestlers on TrackWrestling, AGWSR currently has seven wrestlers listed and South Hardin-BCLUW has two.
