Getting crafty

ELDORA – Lisa Allison had always wanted her own gift shop and even considered opening a Hallmark store after high school, however the “franchise fees at the time were out of reach,” she said.

Always having a knack for putting things together in a pleasing way, Allison received her degree from Kirkwood Community College in graphics design, something that came to her very naturally. “I’ve always liked to do crafts and floral arrangements,” she added.
