ELDORA – In South Carolina 10 years ago, Nora Collogan started baking cookies for her friends, usually taking only one or two orders a month. “Then it got crazy,” she said, and soon word spread, and her cookie side-hustle quickly turned into a 30 hour a week job. If that wasn’t enough, she was already working as a nanny for about 60 hours a week.
Collogan and her husband Chris then decided they wanted to start a family of their own, so she quit her nanny job and created a Facebook page - Cookie Kiln - with the idea of baking cookies part-time.
