ELDORA – “It was business as normal.” That’s what Tisha May said the day after Governor Kim Reynolds gave permission for bars and other alcohol-related establishments to open at 50 percent capacity. May owns and operates The Firehouse Saloon & Grill, located at 1202 19th St. in Eldora. “We’re more of a supper club than a bar,” May said. “But there are regulars who were glad to be back.” The Firehouse had shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but was offering take-out orders during that time.
