HUBBARD – What once was called everything from Dougan’s, to Bopper’s, to Gear Jam’s, to Beer Stein, and then to The Hubb (not necessarily in that order) is now Kelsey’s Pub at 207 E. Maple St. in Hubbard.
Thirty-two year old Kelsey Engelking, a 2007 Hubbard-Radcliffe graduate, had been a regular at The Hubb, and owners Charlie and Rochelle Allen were ready for a change. “Charlie and I joked about it,” Engelking said about buying the business from the Allens. “Then we started the process in January with the licensing and stuff.”
