IOWA FALLS – The Ellsworth Community College campus community continues to mourn the loss of 21-year-old Robert Givens Jr. of Ferguson, Mo., an ECC student who drowned in the Iowa River in Iowa Falls on the evening of April 27.
According to a press release, Givens was a freshman on the ECC Wrestling team. He was on campus a short time but made a big impact while he was here. With a fun, outgoing personality, he was known to turn strangers into friends.
