South Hardin’s Dante Dolash and Kael Carr were among the area players selected to all-district teams chosen by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association.
Dolash was a first-team pick to the Class 2A Northeast team, Carr earned a second-team slot.
Dolash, a Simpson recruit, allowed just seven earned runs in 53 and two-thirds innings this summer, for a 0.91 earned run average. He struck out 85 with 17 walks and posted a 6-2 overall record as the Tigers’ ace.
At the plate, he hit .295 with four doubles, seven RBI and six runs scored.
