ELDORA - The Pine Lake Festival was the main topic of conversation at a special June 29 Eldora City Council meeting. The festival is scheduled for the weekend of July 24-26, and the council worked to iron out plans for a fun and a safe celebration. The city has provided event organizers extra space to allow social distancing, meaning sidewalks and street closings, but only where residents and area businesses would feel no adverse effects.
