ELDORA – Tom and Dawn Harrell wondered if purchasing a bowling alley during a pandemic was a good idea, but they did it anyway and took ownership of Eldora Bowl on Nov. 1
“On the day we took over, our son tested positive,” Dawn said of the coronavirus, noting they all had to quarantine. Then Gov. Reynolds put out a proclamation, which ended bowling leagues until Dec. 10.
“It’s been a tough go,” Tom said. “We had to find something to do.”
