ELDORA - The Eldora City Council passed an ordinance, which allows permits to be given out in special cases for all-terrain vehicles to be allowed on city streets. With golf carts now legal in Eldora, ATV owners have approached city leaders as well. Permits will only be given for special events such as the county fair and Iowa Ride. The City of Eldora currently owns three ATVs, and it only makes sense to create a way for these vehicles to legally be driven on city streets.
