ACKLEY – Alyssa Hames led AGWSR girls basketball with 20 points and the Cougars defeated BCLUW, 49-30, in NICL West action at AGWSR High School on Friday, Jan. 15.
Grace Finger added 14 points for the home team. AGWSR started the game on a 14-2 run, leading from start to finish.
“I thought we did a better job of breaking the defense down,” AGWSR head coach Laurie Gann said. “We’ve been working on trying to get better post entries, and hope that will help our post players so that we can open up our outside a little better.”
