BCLUW softball was scheduled to play one final regular-season game against 1A No. 15 Central City on Friday, July 1 in Conrad.
The Wildcats are rated 15th in Class 1A and squeaked out a 2-1 victory over BCLUW at the Bobcat Classic in Marshalltown on Saturday, June 25.
The game occurred after this issue went to press. BCLUW begins the postseason at home on Wednesday, July 6 against either Lynnville-Sully or GMG.
BCLUW went 0-4 at the Bobcat Classic, falling to Marshalltown (4-2), Colfax-Mingo (7-2), 1A No. 3 Lisbon (10-0) and Central City.
