ALLISON - In the midst of a busy week for BCLUW softball, the Comets picked up a 7-1 Iowa Star South win at Baxter on Friday to cap off a 3-1 streak despite some adversity.
BCLUW opened with a 12-0 (five inning) home win over Dunkerton on Monday, their only game in Conrad last week. Juniors Sarah Garber and Marissa Schnathorst each came up with two hits and two RBIs. Senior Callie Swanson also batted in two runs before a collision with senior Maliah Gunderson took both out of the game.
