CONRAD – Aplington-Parkersburg defeated BCLUW in straight sets at BCLUW High School on Thursday in the Comets’ final game of the regular season.
The Falcons won 25-20, 25-18, 25-12.
Allison Engle had eight kills and eight assists for the Comets; Eden Wilson added six kills and a team-leading 14 digs; Sydney Anderson contributed 10 assists and 10 digs.
BCLUW finished the season at 20-16 overall and hosted Collins-Maxwell on Monday in an opening-round regional game.
