ANITA - A long trip across Iowa on Wednesday was worth it for BCLUW girls golf as they earned their third State banner in as many years.
The Comets shot 378 as a team to place first overall. Senior Lindsay Beeghly placed third individually with an 83. Senior Sydney Anderson followed with a 94, junior Delaney Legg a 99 and sophomore Gracie Andrews a 102.
BCLUW will compete at the Class 1A State Meet at the American Legion Golf Course in Marshalltown on Thursday and Friday this week.
