ACKLEY – BCLUW's final offensive play on Friday night didn't go off as planned.
But Noah Gallentine's hot hand was an excellent improviser, and the BCLUW senior hit three 3-pointers in the final 53 seconds as the Comets rallied to a 42-41 victory over AGWSR in NICL West boys basketball action at AGWSR High School on Friday, Jan. 15.
"We talk a lot about punching through when we hit that wall, when we hit adversity. … The guys had to give it their all to get back in the game, and they did," BCLUW coach Evan Janssen said. "They hit the shots they needed to get the win."
