City’s 11th Street project making progress

Work on 11th Street in Eldora will get underway ahead of the snow in one of the largest street projects in recent history for the city.

Eldora residents will see 11th Street revamped from Washington to the fairgrounds by the time the project finishes.

“Roughly eight blocks of full reconstruction,” said Lucas Wilson, project manager.

Sewer services along the route as well as full reconstruction of the roadway, from existing asphalt over to concrete is planned.

The work will see an overhaul for an important piece of Eldora roadway.
