ELDORA – The United Methodist Church at 1405 12th Ave. has welcomed Rev. Dan G. Fernandez to the pulpit, his first Sunday was July 12. Pastor Dan has been in the ministry for 33 years, 13 in the Philippines and the following 20 with the Iowa Annual Conference.
One of Pastor Dan’s concerns as he starts his new position, is people deciding whether or not to wear masks to church. “It’s a challenge,” he said. “Everyone wants to go back to normal.”
