ELDORA – With 20.87 percent of the county casting a ballot on Election Day, the results are in. The verdict? Some new faces will join incumbents in offices across the region.
The Eldora City Council will see two new people including Carey Callaway Morton and Mike May Jr., while incumbent Jerry Kramer will retain his seat. Callaway Morton received 336 votes, Kramer, 284, and May Jr., 200. Former council members Melody Hoy and Greg Priske decided not to run for re-election.
Trevor Fisher, who received 110 votes and Eric Neuer who garnered 99 votes, were defeated.
