Carson Hoffman was all in on track and field.
The BCLUW student-athlete, who will be a senior this fall, opted to not go out for wrestling as a junior last winter so he could focus on indoor track and field training.
"I was aiming for about 20 feet in the long jump and probably around an 11.3 for my 100 [-meter dash] time," Hoffman said.
Hoffman performed well at the Dickinson Relays in Cedar Falls on March 10. He was 40th out of 138 jumpers in the long jump, hitting 19 feet even. In the 60-meter dash, he ran a 7.74.
