HARDIN COUNTY – It started with a trip to the Iowa State Fair and discovering the bee exhibit in the Varied Industries Building, Steamboat Rock resident Jackie Hagberg said. “My grandson was with me and we decided it would be fun.”
Seeing this exhibit, then discovering that Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls was offering a class on beekeeping, she enrolled. “It was a message from God that I should do this,” she smiled.
